BayAudio Studio Rentals

Why we built BayAudio

BayAudio Studio Rentals began with a simple frustration: great hosts were losing time to avoidable noise, tangled setups, and inconsistent rooms. We set out to create predictable studios—spaces where you feel calm before the first question.

Our timeline

2019 — Acoustic prototype

We modeled wall assemblies to reduce structure-borne noise and tuned early panels for conversational clarity (C50 focus over C80). The first room sounded natural without sounding dead.

2021 — Redundant recording by default

From this year forward, every session writes to two independent recorders. No client has lost a take since.

2024 — Remote guest excellence

We refined our remote capture SOPs to manage variable connections and clock drift. Guests join, you host, we handle sync.

Mission and principles

Team

Maya Lin

Head of Acoustics

Leads room modeling and commissioning. Writes the acceptance checklist and won’t sign off until silence measures silent.

Jonas Erik

Lead Systems Engineer

Designs signal chains and redundancy. Believes a second recorder is cheaper than rescheduling guests.
